How Can He Manage All This?

By Michal ZacharzewskiMy protagonist is in a pickle. The unconscious female main character unconscious slung over his shoulder. Theodore, her guardian, has agreed to take the protagonist on an after hours tour of the ship that the protagonist needs to steal. Plus, he has to somehow sneak the female main character past her doting guardian without raising suspicion (ie. Theodore wouldn’t let him in with a rolled up carpet that could be a bomb) and while stealing the ship from under Theodore’s nose.

How can he manage all this?

The experts say I should be ecstatic. Whenever your plot has a “how is he going to manage this?” moment, your readers will stay glued to your book to find out. The problem is: how can he manage all this?
